Playing head-to-head (Player vs Player)
Many games can be played one-on-one against another player. When you open a head-to-head game — like Chess, Checkers or Tic-Tac-Toe — you'll arrive in the lobby instead of the usual start screen. From there you have a few ways to get into a match:
- Quick Match — the fastest option. We pair you automatically with another player on the site who's ready to play. If someone is already waiting you're matched straight away; otherwise we open a table for you and drop the next player in.
- Create a Table — opens your own table and waits for an opponent. Other players see your table in their lobby list and can join you.
- Open Tables — the list of tables other players have opened. Tap any one and choose Join to start playing that host right away.
- ⚔️ Challenge a Friend — create your own private match and invite anyone. Tap Challenge a friend, then share the link by WhatsApp, copy it, or use your phone's share menu. The first friend who opens your link and taps Accept becomes your opponent — and the game begins.
Play live, or take your time. For the turn-based board games you don't both need to be online at the same moment. Make your move and it's saved — your opponent plays whenever they next come back, even hours or days later, the way you'd play Words with Friends. If you both happen to be online, moves show up within a few seconds and it feels live; if not, just pop back later to take your turn.
Your move, in one place. Whenever a game is waiting on you, a My Games link appears in the menu with a little badge showing how many matches need your move. Open it any time to see every game in progress — whose turn it is and who you're up against — and jump straight back in. We'll also email you when someone accepts your challenge and when it becomes your turn, so you never miss a move.
Keeping games moving. If it's your turn and you go quiet, we'll send a friendly reminder after about a day, and if there's still no move after 48 hours the match is awarded to your opponent so games don't hang forever. You can resign at any time. Every finished match still counts on the head-to-head leaderboard and awards XP — and you're only ever matched with players on the same site.

What Are Quests?
Quests are challenges that reward you with XP for completing specific in-game goals. They give your gaming sessions extra purpose beyond just chasing high scores.
- Examples: "Score 1,000 in 2048", "Play 5 games in one day", "Win 3 in a row on Chess"
- Quests are organised by type: Score, Plays, Streak, New Best and more
- Some quests are game-specific; others apply across all games
- Daily and weekly quests refresh automatically
10

What Is the Leaderboard Page?
The Leaderboards page is the central hub for all platform rankings:
- Recent Scores — latest scores submitted across all games
- Top Players — players ranked by total XP earned
- Top Games — most-played games on the platform
- Login Streaks — players with the longest consecutive daily login streaks
- Clan Leaderboard — clans ranked by weekly XP earned
- Quest Completions — players who have completed the most quests
Individual game leaderboards are on each game's page under the 🏆 Leaderboard tab.
12
What Are Tournaments?
Tournaments are organised competitions on a single game, with XP prizes for the top finishers. There are two formats:
- Leaderboard — everyone plays the same game and posts their best score. Highest score when the tournament ends wins. Join any time while it's open.
- Knockout (double-elimination) — a seeded bracket of 8, 16, 32 or 64 players. You're matched head-to-head each round: both players play within a time window and the higher score advances. It takes two losses to be knocked out, so one bad round won't end your run — losers drop into a second-chance bracket and can still battle back to the final.
Find them on the Tournaments page. Tournament scores are kept completely separate — they never change your normal game stats or all-time best scores.
13
How to Join & Win
- Open the Tournaments page and pick one that's Open or Upcoming, then click Join (it's free — you just need to be logged in)
- Some tournaments have entry requirements (a minimum best score on the game, or a minimum XP balance) — these are shown on the tournament page
- Click Play to launch the game. Your scores are recorded against the tournament automatically
- Knockout matches: your current opponent, both scores and the round deadline are shown on the Your Match card. Play before the deadline — if you don't post a score in time you forfeit the round
- When the tournament finishes, XP prizes are paid out by final position (1st, 2nd, 3rd…), and many tournaments also give every entrant a small participation bonus
- Your joined tournaments, live position and results all appear on the tournament page
14
What Are Clashes?
A Clash is a quick, player-started score battle on a single game that runs for a set time — anything from 1 hour to 7 days. Whoever has the highest score when the clock runs out wins the XP prize.
- No sign-up step — you enter a Clash simply by playing the game while the Clash is live. Your best score during the window is your entry.
- Everyone who posts a score earns 2 XP, and the top scorer also takes the Clash's prize XP
- Ties are broken by whoever posted their score first
- Each Clash shows a live leaderboard and a countdown on the Clashes page
Clashes are faster and more casual than tournaments — a great way to put up a quick XP prize and challenge other players on a game you love.
15
How to Create & Win a Clash
- Go to the Clashes page and click ⚔️ Create a Clash (you must be logged in)
- Pick a game and a duration (1, 3, 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours, or 7 days), then click Launch Clash
- The Clash name is generated automatically and a random XP prize is assigned
- You can run one Clash at a time — and there can only be one active Clash per game
- To compete in someone else's Clash, open it and hit ▶ Play to Enter — your score is added to the Clash automatically as you play
- When the timer ends, the winner is paid the prize XP and the Clash moves to the completed list
16
What Are Clans?
Clans are groups of players who team up to compete together, complete shared missions and challenge rival clans.
- Each clan has a unique name, 4-letter tag and icon
- Clans earn weekly XP from their members' gameplay
- Clan missions refresh daily — complete them as a team for bonus XP
- Clans appear on the Leaderboards page ranked by weekly XP
17

- Play quizzes in Compete mode — answers stay hidden so your score is more meaningful
- Maintain your streak — even one game a day keeps your streak alive
- Use the AI Coach — after each game session, check the AI tip panel for personalised strategy advice
- Watch the leaderboard — see which games have fewer top players and target those for easier podium spots
